Thank you for licensing Spline Mesher 2!
This asset is developed for Unity 2022.3.21+. Using it with older versions runs the risk of script compile errors.
Unity 6 does not affect this asset and it fully supported.
What’s new in version 2.0?
• Rewritten from the ground up for multithreaded mesh generation.
∟ Instant realtime changes within milliseconds using Burst & Jobs.
• Spline fill mesh generation
∟ Build lakes, curbs, platforms and more.
• Output mesh splits up into segments
∟ Optimal culling & rendering performance at large scales.
• Procedural meshes as input or collider
∟ Use a configurable Cube, Tube or Plane input mesh
• MeshLOD support
∟ Generate LODs in the editor (Unity 6.2+)
Additional changes:
- Lightmap UV generation behaviour can now be configured in a “Project Settings” section, so can be commited to source control
- Wireframe and UV visualization option on each component
- Stats section to display the total vertex/triangle count, as well as memory size
- Drag & drop material(s) into the inspector to auto-assign them
- Vertex color start/end gradients
